Solidarity and spiritual activities

Inspiring actions: from humanitarian trips to the organization of spiritual activities, our students at Al-Kindi school engage in solidarity and spiritual initiatives that enrich their educational journey and strengthen their spirit of solidarity.

Action and Solidarity

Solidarity activities

As part of its commitment to the values of solidarity and sharing, Al-Kindi school has organized humanitarian expeditions to
Senegal and Morocco , bringing together students and teachers in altruistic adventures.

These initiatives have resulted in several significant projects, including the construction of wells to provide clean water and the planting of trees to promote environmental sustainability in both countries.

The students’ involvement has not only fostered a positive impact on local communities, but has also enriched their educational experience through hands-on learning about the importance of community engagement.

In addition to these ecological and sustainable development efforts, the Al-Kindi delegation has also taken part in actions that directly benefit the education and well-being of local children.

They distributed essential school supplies and food, supporting the education and health of local students in Senegal and Morocco.

To enrich the experience, participants also explored various cultural and natural sites in both countries, participating in recreational activities such as quad bike rides, which allowed everyone to discover the country’s unique landscape while strengthening team spirit.

These activities not only enhanced the skills and social awareness of Al-Kindi students, but also created bonds of friendship and understanding between young people from different cultures,

thus embodying the values of fraternity and cultural exchange dear to the school.

SPIRITUAL FULFILLMENT

Spiritual activities

Spirituality is at the heart of Al-Kindi’s project. First of all, knowing and understanding Islam means giving priority to respecting every human being; being demanding with oneself and kind to others.

In addition to the Islamic culture course and the teaching of the Arabic language which gives direct access to Arab-Muslim culture, throughout the school year, activities and workshops as well as challenges and events will be organized to promote this spiritual development and motivate students in their spiritual journey.

The month of Ramadan, a time of fasting and spiritual reflection, is also a time of sharing and community at Al-Kindi.

Every year, the school organizes a collective iftar that brings together students, teachers and staff in an atmosphere of conviviality and solidarity.

This special evening is the result of close collaboration between the students, who participate in the preparation of the meals, and the teaching staff, who supervise the organization.

Iftar thus becomes a wonderful opportunity for everyone to put into practice the values of generosity and hospitality advocated by Islam, while strengthening ties within the school community.

During this event, the emphasis is on kindness and mutual respect, the foundations of collective life in Al-Kindi.

Iftar at Al-Kindi is not only a time to break the fast, but also an opportunity for students to engage in a shared spiritual journey, supported by their peers and teachers.

It is a poignant example of how spirituality can be harmoniously integrated into daily educational life and contribute to personal and collective development.
