Sports activities
Al-Kindi offers sports activities focused on futsal and basketball through separate associations, with an emphasis on fun and skill improvement. An annual competition brings together students and teachers to strengthen cohesion and reward efforts.
DIVERSIFIED SPORTS ASSOCIATIONS
The sports association.
The Al-Kindi establishment has two sports associations for middle and high school students.
The common objectives of these two AS are to help each student progress, so that they discover a sporting activity or improve on it. Pleasure and progress are at the heart of these projects.
So, the first is the Men’s Sports Association in the futsal activity. This has a competitive objective.
Indeed, the establishment will register a team in the 2023/2024 year for the departmental, regional and national competitions of the UNSS.
The idea is to compete with teams from various establishments by mixing team spirit, mutual aid, and confrontation while respecting others.
In 2023, 20 students were registered with 1 hour 15 minutes of futsal per week on Tuesday lunchtimes at the La Berthaudière gymnasium.
The second is the women’s sports association in futsal and basketball activities.
The objective is to promote the progress of each in a friendly spirit where mutual assistance and goodwill are combined. These sessions take place on Monday lunchtimes for 1 hour and 15 minutes at the Becquerel gymnasium where we had 33 students registered.
Finally, to unite students and teachers, a competition around three activities (badminton, basketball, futsal) was organized on June 1, 2023 and will be repeated. 53 students and 8 teachers competed.
The best teams had the chance to win prizes (laser game, bowling, etc.) to reward their efforts during the morning.
